Ambient on a phone: today’s plan and home-screen widgets
Sound familiar?

You meant to start at 10.

Time slips. One “quick” thing becomes the whole afternoon, and the day is gone before it started.

Everything feels urgent.

So nothing gets started. The list keeps growing, and every item shouts at the same volume.

Planners wait for you to open them.

For ADHD brains, out of sight is out of mind. The plan exists — somewhere you never look.

What if your plan came to you?

01 · Brain dump

Say everything on your mind.

Talk or type — “call the dentist at 4pm, groceries, reply to Sam.” No sorting, no forms.

Brain dump screen
02 · Plan

It becomes a plan.

Each thought turns into a block with a time and a length. Drag to reorder; the gaps fill themselves.

Your plan screen
03 · Today

Your whole day, at a glance.

A calm visual timeline with “what’s next” pinned on top. Routines drop in as one tap.

Day timeline
04 · Nudges

It taps you on the shoulder.

Gentle heads-ups or alarm-style reminders — and a second nudge if you haven’t started.

05 · Focus

One big timer. Nothing else.

Start a block and the screen becomes a countdown you can read from across the room.

06 · Always in view

Right on your home screen.

Widgets for iPhone and Android show what’s now, what’s next, and how the day is going.

Less remembering.
More doing.

When the plan meets you where you already look, starting gets easier — one block at a time.

    Questions

    What is Ambient?

Ambient is a visual day planner app for iPhone and Android, designed for people with ADHD and other neurodivergent adults. Instead of waiting to be opened, it shows your plan on your home screen (widgets), in your notifications (reminders that can nudge again) and as one big focus timer.

    Who is Ambient for?

People who find traditional planners easy to forget — especially ADHD and neurodivergent adults who struggle with time blindness, getting started, or too many tasks at once.

How is Ambient different from other planner apps?

Most planners only help if you remember to open them. Ambient brings the plan to you: home-screen widgets show what is now and next, reminders can nudge you again if you have not started, and a brain dump turns whatever you type or say into a timed plan.

When will Ambient launch, and on which phones?

Ambient is in closed testing on Android now, and anyone with an Android phone can join the test. The iPhone version is coming soon: join the beta list on this page to get an invite before the public launch.

    Is Ambient free?

Ambient will have a free plan. Some features, such as more routines and syncing across devices, are part of an optional Ambient Pro upgrade.

    Is Ambient a medical app?

No. Ambient is a planning tool that supports executive function. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat ADHD or any other condition.

    What happens to my data?

Your plans are stored on your phone. They leave your device only if you choose to sync them to your account. There are no ads and no data selling. See the Privacy Policy for details.
